The growing and confirmed awareness of environmental protection and the development of new technologies, involving the hybridization sector applied to public and private transport, have increased, accelerating the production of electric cars that are now progressively present in our daily life.
This very rapid growth requires an increase in the services available supporting this technology that at the same time is generating new problems related to vehicle management and logistics.
Often batteries of some vehicles die during long navigation journeys. Consequently, this inconvenience may generate considerable delays during the disembarking of the “load” once the ship reaches its final destination. A car unable to start (low battery) can in fact block the entire disembarking process causing remarkable delays until the removal of the vehicle.
NEW SERVICES ON BOARD
Fast battery recharging or emergency service can be offered by the shipping company as a further amenity.
It may be free of charge, included in the ticket cost, or charged to the passenger. The passenger service will be part of the shipping policy and/or marketing.
