How do you manage emergencies on board?
It is our technical and managerial policy to handle them promptly 24/7/365 at all times. We do understand that clients need to be reassured and heard in their needs and requests for immediate attention in solving their problems.
It has been proved that some people panic and eventually do not apply the right solution in time.
In our technical Team we include several skilled technicians trained to identify the solution quicker than the crew through their specialized troubleshooting and support better than others the crew on board.
We call them “problem solvers” and we call on them often. Working on an emergency call for elevator intercoms on board, for example, is one of the issues we are quite often asked to provide service.
Elevator intercoms serve as a rescue for passengers in case of emergencies or technical issues in providing a direct communication channel to emergency services, ensuring fast assistance when/if needed.
Elevators become traps with no means of communication. This may cause panic and claustrophobia in those trapped.
In our opinion to allow continuity of the equipment as quickly as possible can be fundamental and a lifesaver.
